Help in understanding Homegroup sharing feature. Window 10

I have 3 computers. On the main computer, I selected a folder C:\Users\xxxxxx to share...


All the computers have these settings...

Yet if I add a file on the main computer the other two can read, but not write to it?

Are there other settings I need to change?

On the folder you are sharing right-click and select properties ,then sharing,then you can choose read and/or write etc.
