Hi sorry if this is the wrong place to post.

Anyway so I built my new pc a few weeks ago, and got it up and running just fine, but a bit of a botch job with the fans. I didnt really know how to set them up or where to conenct them. Anyway temps are fine and they seem to be working apart from one (at the back). Im not overly bothered but would be nice to get going.

Anyway I also bought a scythe fan controller (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BB-003-SY&groupid=701&catid=1428&subcat=1429) and havnt set it up yet as it looked so so complicated.

Could anyone help me get the fans set up correctly and make sure they are connected to the MB in the right places, and also show me how to set up the controller? Seems a waste just sat in the box :p

The instructions were extremely limited.

Anyway my gear is as follows:

Antec 1200 case
Evga x58 mobo
BeQuiet! 850w psu.

think thats all thats relevant?

I would realy realy appreciate the help! , and if there is anything more I can do to assist I will.

cheers in advance

ps while running speedfan, temp to is around 56 deg with a flame pic by it, what is this thats running hot? All the others have a blue down arrow.

should be a little manual with the controller showing the connections needed, should also have got sets of cables with the controller that match up to the fans, if the fans have 3 pin connectors on them.

on the mobo should have 2 or more connectors for the fans (check your mobo manual for positions) that are for cpu cooler, chassis fan and maybe 1/2 more.

the only one that might be an issue is the cpu fan, to start with make sure its plugged in then disable the option in bios to detect cpu fan speed.

once thats done use the cables with the controller to connect to your 3 pin fans to the controller.
