I can't seem to install this card. The manual says to select a standard pci vga driver, then insert the setup disk. But XP(home) doesn't show a driver available. I click on dilay adapters, and it says there aren't any drivers.
What am I doing wrong?
The mobo is the Intel D975XBX

Ok, assuming your replacing an existing card, remove previous gfx drivers, remove previous card, install new card remembering to connect it to your psu, start windows, cancel any found harware wizards, then install drivers from CD that came with the card or the latest ones from nvidia website. Reboot, select desired resolution, job done. :)

I can install the drivers ffrom the cd, but non of the other software.
I get 'there is no correct device for this cd' message.
And downoading the latest nvidia drivers, it says there aren't any drivers compatible with you current hardware.

If the drivers install then thats all you need. What other software are you trying to install?

What OS are you using?

As I said XPhome.
The problem is, it's installed ok. But downloading the latest drivers (I'm on 8. something) the install package doesn't recognise that I have a card to update.
