Help installing SteamCmd

Hey guys,

I will forewarn you im a terrible Linux noob.
It's an old dedi that I have access to that I think is running Debian Squeeze.

I know the basics, but when it comes to figuring out why something isn't working...im pretty lost.

Anyway, when i try to run SteamCMD I get

I've read its probably something to do with x86 and x64 bit and to install some 32 bit libraries...but I get all kinds of errors when I try to do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah sorry for the delay in my reply.
I think my Debian install is trashed tbh...nothing works properly atm.

I'll get the host to rebuild it for me.

Probably plenty of the latter.
it's a free dedi I have from back in the day (was sponsored)
No control panel unfortunately.
