Help installing Win 10!

Hi all, having a mare of a day... Seemed so simple lol.

Trying to install Windows 10 to a new system, but when it boots to either a Windows made DVD or USB flash drive, all I get is a flashing cursor in the top left, nothing else happens, at all.

I have remade the USB boot drive 3 times, burnt a new dvd, just get the same.

In desperation I tried an old XP USB I had from another pc, worked first time (even installed!)

Help, please! :(:(:confused::p
 
Got it all done, nice nippy system, all accounts put on for my son, then, I realised I'd done it in 32 bit :(

Will have to start again tomorrow. To think, I used to do this sort of thing all the time for fun before!
