Hi there, over the last 2 months our internet has become increasingly bad, we used to always get about 4 to 6 Mb/s in the day and about 3.00 to 4.00 Mb/s at night (according to speedtest.net) this was dandy until it started going down hill, it got slower and slower and now at night speedtest returns a result of around 0.30Mb/s and In the day if im lucky I will get 1.00 Mb/s.

Obviously getting to these speeds got very frustrating so I rang talktalk, and told them the issue, they said that everything was good their end and I was recieving between 4.00 and 5.00 Mb/s and my router confirmed this, so they are now getting me to do speedtests are certain times of the day.

My question to you is, is it talktalk?? or is it me or my router. Browsers and PC's are ruled out because its the same on all 3 computers and the xbox, they are also all hardwired. I have reset the router a few times, and it sped it up back to normal the first few times, but only for 5-10 minutes.

Anyone had any problems like this, its really getting annoying.

Thanks for reading :)

edit: I also dissconnect and reconnect the router via the router IP about 3 -6 times a day to get past the megavideo limit, but i wouldn't of thought that would have anything to do with it.
