Was turning on the computer and my screen went all fuzzy and corrupted. Turned it off and on again it was back to normal. Is my 1900XTX on the way out? Is it definite that when screen corruption is observed a card is dying, slowly
My card is running at stock and never been overclocked (I know, too old for games now :D )

The 1900 cards still play games fine cos I have a 1900xt card oc to the xt-x and the only game it chugs at is dirt but only with 6 or 8 car races. The x1900 cards are still great cards

It could be. I had a x1900xt that started doing that and then completely failed. Luckily I got my current card from the RMA.

Not necessarily sometimes could be the mobo or some other glitch, but if worried run 3dmark 06 - the freeze test & ATI artifact tester & if both are ok i wouldnt worry about it. And that card is still pretty high end, despite what some may say.

I have an x1900XT and it runs EVERYTHING at MAX - nothing wrong at all for playing games on it!!!

I have no idea about the screen corruption - check temps although it sounds like it could be a power issue when you turn the comp off.
