HELP! is my GC dead?

Im trying to get the s-video out on my gamecube working but cannot. my video out works fine but the s-video dosent give out an image. Ive bought an extra lead incase the one Ive had was faulty but its just the same.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Assuming the cube is pal , then it's normal. Pal gamecubes don't do s-video.

I dont think Ive ever seen an s video lead for gc. Best image quality will come from a component lead but you will need the have the digi out on the GC (only older models have it) and get the cable imported. Failing that RGB is your best bet.

thanks for that info!!! Ive bought a s-video lead from the bay, it never said doesnt work with pal! Oh well, ill just have to get a composite lead instead

No! Get a component or RGB scart lead. Composite is poop.

thats true, I guess that the UKL consoles dont have s-video out Oh well, ive decided not to get the component lead for the GC, and wait for the Wii to come out as that will play all the GC games in 480p!
