Hey guys,

Been doing my research, and I've come to a conclusion that i just want verifying with you's, to make sure I'm getting the best for my buck performance wise.

Titan 350i Gelata w/

Zalman Z9 Plus Gaming Case. I don't really know too much about the cases?, has good reviews though
GTX 670 2GB, really want this!
Windows 7 Home, worth going with Professional for the extra?
Samsung 120GB SSD Primary
Seagate 2TB Secondary

£1066.94 :)

Anything i should know about regarding the Titan?, I'm coming from an iMac so this is new territory. Know the basics but just wanted some advice from those who know best :)

I'll be purchasing with the Asus MX239H too. Worth calling up and asking for a discount for the monitor as I'm purchasing a system? ;)

Thanks in advance! :D

That Gelata looks a good system, 300R or Z9 would be my choice and Agree with the GPU talk above.. 7950 should see perfect, can overclock it a fair amount..

Some 7970's come locked so i wouldn't get one.. as a 7950 will perform very similarly for £70 less.

The GTX 670 is a great card and it overclocks well too.. I'd actually choose that. If i had the money. :)

Thanks for the feedback guys. Think I'm sticking with what I first decided, and should hopefully be placing my order by Wednesday this week!

Anything else I should know about the system before making the plunge?

Thanks in advance as always!

Best thing to ask yourself is what will you primarily be using your graphics card for, gaming, 3D Design, Animation or using it with programs like photoshop?

Nivida have a few options specific to thier cards such as physx and cuda.

Where as ATI does not.
But if its just for gaming you can't go wrong with a 7950!

It'll be used primarily for 3DS MAX and gaming, so the GTX 670 should benefit me more in this case?!

not really, as it supports amd the same tbh

Direct3D 10, Direct3D 9, or OpenGL-capable graphics card† (1 GB or higher video card memory)

the statement has always been a myth as both are supported just as well, Cuda doesn't make it any better supported or faster either, as amd cards and now drivers are just as optimized......

the only reason top class use pro cards and not gaming cards are better drivers and are a lot more accurate, with gaming cards being cheaper and some times faster, but nowhere near as good for long term use, or driver support either, noise and power use etc etc

i could go on and link a few but threads been done many many times and it's boring, so won't rant on
