help ive been a silly billy

right guys ive got a problem im wonderin if anybody could help me with, my dvd rewriter was playing up reading normal disks then refusing to read any sort of blank media, so i disabled it, still nothing so then i uninstalled i and i completely forgot about doing it and now i cant seem to get it to come back im really sure the answer is staring me in the face but i cant seem to work it out, any help pls

Have you scanned for hardware changes in device manager?

Hate it when you get a brain block like that, been out on the pop last night

Did you disable it in the bios? If so renable it. Can you find it by R clicking MY Computer and then see it in your Device Manager? If you can renable it there. Hope that helps now talking of beers and beer gardens

i have and its not there, i just disabled it in my computer. i cant believe i have been so dumb tbh lol and to think i kind of think im decent with computers and i do this

try completely removing it from hardware in windows
re boot and let windows re find the drive and install it properly again
