its looks a bit messy. dunno how u guys keep everything so neat.

anyway when I turn it on it beeps twice continuously with 1 second pauses...like beep beep.......beep beep.... etc etc whats that about?!? Its not the bios beeps, it gets past that and I can get into windows if I wanted to (if I had it installed). I also checked in bios to see if I needed to disable the fan warnings, but they are all disabled anyway.

I dont have any of the fans (inc the Tuniq tower fan) connected to the motherboard, they are all connected to the Zalman fan controller (which is connected to the psu). All the fans are working though, although I did change one down to 60rpm on the controller and it made no difference to its spinning..

Any ideas what this beeping is about?

The beeping starts soon as you turn on the PC!, beeps you state do sound like BIOS beeps, do you have any operating installed or you just finished building and started the PC.

Try clearing the BIOS, if that does not work remove your sound card and 1 Stick of memory.

Rob

I dont have anything installed and the hdd has been formatted. Its all new, i dont think clearing the bios will help. i will try removing the soundcard and 1 stick of mem..

is everything especially the memory detected properly? are any fan warnings on? turn the cpu fan up to full blast and also disable any warnings about fan speed, it might be the tuniq tower is so good, the speed it is at is lower than the "warning speed" but the temps on the cpu are still fine.

yes all detected. no fan warnings are on.

Is it not perhaps the zalman fan controller beeping? I have a Coolermaster cool drive 4, and one of the fan is set low. this triggers a continous alarm until you actually acknowledge the alarm by selecting the fan, then pressing the big silver knob.

See if there is something similar on yours - just a suggestion as everything else seems to have been suggested/tried/checked already.

I think it might be. fan 1, 2 and 3 are all reporting but i have nothing connected to fan 4. when I use the wheel and turn and adjust any of em the beeping stops. but afterwards it comes back on. I selected fan 4 and pressed the silver button but it didnt shut the beeping up...

thanks it was!

swede this might help u..

When you have everything in place, the unit immediately lights up and allows you to change the speed of the attached fans. If you don’t have a fan on a certain channel or if the fan isn’t turning/working then the unit will start beeping at you loudly until you sort the problem out, or disable that channel by pressing ‘mode’ until the right channel is selected and pressing in the jog wheel.

it worked for me.
