Help k750i Firmware Issue!

Hi there,

I've just updated the FW on my k750i but now it wont recognise my sim! When I turn the phone on it just says "Insert SIM", but it's in there!

The version that my phones been upgraded to is R1DB001.

The SEUS went right to 100% then asked me to unplug the phone, put sim in and then turn it on. I did this and I'm now getting this error.

Is this a known problem or what? I've search around a bit and have barely found anything.

This needs to be sorted by this morning or I'm ****** for work.

Can you not reflash with the software package from wotanserver.com?

It's seems to be the sim thats buggered. I tried it in various other phones and they were all telling me to insert sim.

I've tried another sim in my phone and it works perfectly.

Why would the sim just stop working like this?

Did you leave it in the phone when you were doing the FW upgrade?

Instructions do tell you to "!REMOVE THE SIM!" ...... Time for a repair at the Sony centre... :eek:

I took the sim out whilst doing the upgrade. The board is not fried as I took the phone apart yesterday to have a look.

I'll just try and get a new sim of vodafone.
