Help keep CPU or go for new one with motherboard

Hi have a full setup minus motherboard with a athlon II x250 that is used for general browsing and HTPC duties, it will have 1 ssd for the os and a front end for media playback and 1 hard drive for recording tv streams, all other media is on the server.

So do I go for a new motherboard and use this CPU or go for a fm1 setup.

Well if you get a motherboard, for that use I'd just find a cheap ish second hand one. If you can find one that'll do the job that's probably your cheapest option.

Bulldozer isn't worth the money really.
