Help Keyboard and mouse not working

After Intalling a new HSF I booted into windows and got a BSOD. I repaired windows using chkdiskr. I can now get into the windows login screen but the mouse and keyboard will not work, the mouse is lit but with no laser. I can also use the keyboard in BIOS but not windows.

Any idea what the problem is??

yeah a reinstall would defo be a last resort

Anybody else have any ideas? :confused:

I really want to get back on my pc

XP PRO, same situation in safe mode, keyboard and mouse just don't work lol I really wanted to watch some xmas movies

I have a good felling about that idea (ps not being sarcastic just read it back and it looked it lol)
