help! konica 5d owners??

I just bought this camera brand new recently, im new to dslr so i dont know theres a prob with the camera.

When taking a shots i get a real nasty loud high pitched noise. Its noticed more while the shutter is open, eg for slow shutter speed shots like for 10 secs, i would get this noise until the shutter closes. Is this normal?

Cant really notice it in shutter speeds faster than 1/2 sec, i guess the sound is only heard when the shutter is open.

nope i havent rang up. will try going into store and testing out one later if i can. Was just hoping someone here with a 5d could tell me.


I Think sony overs our warranty and tech support now.

yeah i agree with it being noticeable only slower than 1/4 sec or so, but how loud is it exactly? seems to be way too loud, easily very noticeable.....
I *** probably hear it well even at about 10 - 20m away in a quite room.


If i turn off the Anti shake, does the sound go away even at long exposures?
