Help Log me in is a total pile of ****e its not working!!

basically got this comp goin and is connected to the internet and my network absolutely fine and no problems internet access and sharing is fine but good old Log Me In says its ready but not connected to a network. WHY? Any help or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Does the target PC have a Windows logon password? Not used logmein for ages but I think I remember it not working unless the target machine has a password...
