So about 10 years ago I got an attachment for my drill which was like a little grinding stone with a V cut into the centre. you'd put this into a hole you'd cut into steel or aluminium etc and whizz it around with the drill running and this would deburr both sides of the hole and leave a decent finish. well I lost this little thing about 2 weeks ago and I can not seem to find a replacement anywhere.

closest thing I have found is this, but it looks a bit course for aluminium. The one i had was almost identical except it was a grinding stone version. any help finding said tool or a suitable replacement would be great. Maybe I'm just not googling the right words.

Are you talking about something to create or clean up a countersink?

I can't think of exactly what you're after - but if I'm right 'countersink' might be a search phrase that helps you.

We used to have one of these at work, but I'd never used the thing. Wouldn't be able to suggest where to get one.

Could you not get one of the cylindrical ones and cut your own V into the centre?

Had a good look online and can't find one in stone.

You can get much less angry looking metal versions by searching "double chamfer bit".
