Hello, I have recently installed a PCI Express card in my PC machine (the mobo has an onboard 6150Nvidia) installed windows XP...but now everytime I run the ATI CCC program, my system starts making weird noises and then it turns itself off, guessing there's an irq conflict between the onboard video and the PCIe, but don't know how to solve it...

Any ideas (I can't find any disable button in the bios for the onboard vga)

Thanks

Craig

I used to have this baord and i also used a 7600GT in it. To make sure onboard is diabled set it so it initiallises PCI-E first, the option is in Advance section again under PCIPNP

Also in advanced chipset options set the Frame Buffer size to Disabled

Noob question really

Hi in response,

It's a bit of a noob question...once I have disabled it, do I still need to load the Nforce 430 driver???

If it's anything like my Asus CSM, onboard video is disabled when PCI-E is fitted.

You do need 430 chipset software though installed.

If its automatically disabled, why the funny noice (only happens when running CCC overdrive??) and only comes through the speakers??
