could somebody please make this image transparent by removing the white but keeping the dimensions intact. i know it would be a 2 second job for one of you guys..... :p

edit: image removed because it's been sorted.

thanks. :)

also if anybody wants to explain how i can do it myself (using free software :p) then feel free.

Download paint.net
open image in it.
select the white area using the magic wand tool.
use the eraser to remove all the white
save as format that supports transparency.

hows this?

well i tried the paint.net method last night and it gave me a slightly better image than the one Smoke-a lot posted above. the edges look smoother on a white background. i hope that wasn't photoshop you used. :p

sounds like photoshop is far harder to use then - (stands to reason i guess. it's a professional tool costing zillions of $$$)

using the paint.net magic wand, all i had to do was click on any part of the white area once and it automatically selected all of it and then i deleted it. i didn't have to do anything else at all :)

for an image like that it would be fine, not sure how well it would work if you was to cut a person out of background, (please feel free to test it out and let me kno0w lol, would be one for the records :))
photoshop just offers all the little extras that make a huge differance, for the odd cutting out you should be fine with what you got :)
