Mobo: ASrock z77 oc formula

CPU: i5 3570k

Cooler: akasa voodoo venom multi fan (extremely large)

Plus 7 fans

Case: full tower nzxt phantom enthusiast

Ram: corsair 16gb vengeance

Psu: cooler master m2 1000w

The gpu I'm looking for is something that will play bf3 on ultra and other games fine, ranging from £150- £250 maybe push a little more but rather not, I'm using a 22inch monitor hd.

I have a gpu in mind which is the Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7870 OC Windforce 3X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card from overclockers

Any advice on any of my planned system I would appreciate but it's mainly the gpu I'm unsure of

Not worth the price difference over the IceQ that arc@css linked and Sapphire have pretty dire RMA feedback.

You can't link to competitor sites here mate. I'd remove that link :)

Thanks but I think I've decided on the slightly more expensive sapphire series what do you reckon ? It works out around £250

I would remove competitor links!

Sapphires are prone to coil whines and the RMA process is long as they are located in Hungary. I'd recommend a HIS or Gigabyte.

Depending on your location, you can get a 7970 for about the same price.

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI HD 7970 Twin FrozR OC BE 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE GAMES £269.99
1 x HIS HD 7970 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (H797F3G2M) £249.95
1 x HIS HD 7950 IceQ BOOST 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (H795QC3G2M) **Voltage Unlocked** £187.99
Total : £719.93 (includes shipping : £10.00).

I've removed the links thanks for that sorry, I thought about a gigabyte one initially I've found a sapphire one at 207 pound think its the model below the one I first mentioned Sapphire 11196-09-40G HD7950 3GB Vapox-X Graphics Card, ill take a look at what you suggested though thanks for your help
