Heya
installed some software on my pc and it rebooted afterwards, as normal. However I had some vista updated posponed and they decided to update on the reboot. Problem is its saying "installing blah 1 of 3" then runs the shutdown script.
Happens in every mode (safe, debug etc) and the vista boot cd wont recognise my install as a compatible item to repair :/
how the bork do I fix this? I was thinking somehow delete the files windows update downloaded and is trying to install, but where would they be kept?
Uni hand ins next friday and I need to do a big chunk... and get my work off my pc. HELP
