Help me - Boot problems when overclocking

I overclocked my P4 3.00GHz prescott core to 3.20GHz. It was running stable on this for a few days. I turned on my PC this morning and its didnt even boot. No beep from my internal speaker nothing.

So after about 20minutes of fiddling I took out the MoBo batt and replaced it. The machine booted up fine. But when i put the overclock on it again, it did the same thing.

Whats happened?

must have pushed it to far on stock volts, either back off the overclock or apply more volts to try and get it stable.
