Help Me Build This Career Suggestion Tool

Hi Guys

I have built at career suggestion tool at:

http://www.careerboost.co/

It just gives you random career suggestions for anyone who needs ideas.

If you can help by providing a few paragraphs of your career description, that would be good. Things to cover are:

- Skills needed to flourish in the career.

- Rates of pay (no need for exact numbers, just a description of levels, e.g. good/excellent/amazing and prospects).

- A brief description of what tasks you would do in the career.

- Qualifications worth getting.

- Demand for the career and prospects for employment.

Any plans to have it work both ways e.g. by feeding in your current skills/qualifications and then suggesting careers that match?

Remove the adwords until you have the traffic to really make use of it.

Shows the layout as broken and doesn't fit the site yet.

Not at the moment. I accept that such functionality might be a bit more useful, but I imagine there are tons of tools that do that already, so I decided to go with the random suggestion feature.

Whats the point of building a site thats less useful than other existing sites?

It is doing something different and serving a different customer, i.e. someone that just needs some suggestions to give them some ideas.

I don't get why anyone would use it. I don't think anyone would pick a job based on what this suggestion makes.

Mine all began with A, not sure how your randomiser works.

Also, don't get it, as mentioned when you mentioned it before. At least make it useful like "login with linkedin" and then use their profile keywords to suggest other careers along those lines. This is just a bit odd.

Afraid to say, as others, I don't really see much of a point for this.

There's enough resources out there to put skills into to see actual suggested career choices.
