help me build this system

Not sure if this is allowed but i'm building my first system as i've mentioned elsewhere and i'm coming across a few questions along the way, can i use this area of the forum to ask questions as i go?

First things first, probably a really simple question but i'm going to ask it anyway.. I have four memory slots on the m-board and have 2 sticks of ram, do i put the two sticks in the two slots next to each other, or do i put them in the two blue slots etc.

depending on the board its usually slots 2 & 4, if its Dual Channel then read ** manual to find the correct slots, otherwise it doesnt really matter. btw instead of clogging up the forum plz feel free to add me to MSN or email me with any further questions

put the mem in slots 1 and three if they are the same colour
