Help me Cheat - Quiz at work

Who would like to help me win a Kindle fire. I've no idea what any of these are.

It's my companies IT Security team so I'm pretty certain they want me to cheat and think outside the box.

If this isn't allowed, sorry!

The actual images are just embedded in a pdf, can't really do much with it.

I tried a reverse image search on google as well without luck.

No. 3 certainly looks like a hair but as above, it's how you would relate that to computers... I don't think it's spiders silk either, silk would not have that surface texture.

1 almost looks like its frozen. each pic has the magnification at the bottom which might help.

3 is definitely spider's silk as hair is magnitudes too thick. The dimensions of spider's silk match on 10kev and 20kev photos

good one, probably is this and three is a web.

edit: I have to say the only thing that puts me off these being the right answers is that everything seems to have been taken with the same microscope. It seems a bit random, depends where they got their images from.

2 isn't any kind paper I don't think; you'd be able to see the fibres at that magnification. The fact that it's extremely smooth will be the biggest clue. Plastic? Assuming 1 is a virus then it's smooth surrounding would be a Petri dish and the textures match.

Also assuming that 1 and 3 are virus and web then I don't think it's anything literally part of a computer but more an analogy.

i don't see how 1 could be a virus - not at only 350 magnification.
