Help me choose 10 games for school computers

Hi guys,

Just an update for you to let you know what i went for. I had a full read through this thread and had a read up on the games suggested.

So this is what i chose:
  • HL1 + Various mods
  • COD + COD:UO - It can run on integrated graphics apparantly so it's a
    icon14.gif
    from me
  • America's Army - It's free!
  • LFS Demo - Wasn't too sure on whether it would run smoothly, but it's free so worth a try
  • The Simpson's Hit and Run - I think it'll go down well at school, played it before and it's a good, fun game :)
  • Armagetronad - I downloaded it and had a play. It looks like it'll be great fun
  • C&C RA2
  • Warcraft III
  • Starcraft + Broodwars

'But why isn't UT on the list?' I hear you say. Unfortunately the age rating is too high for use in school :(

So, there you have it, wish me luck in setting it all up with all the license key nonsense!

Thanks again for all your suggestions, greatly appreciated :)

Starcraft + Broodwars
Warcraft 3 + Expansion (list of mods for this is extreme and multiplayer capability is great)

Those are 2 you should definatly have. Should be able to run them as well :P

Your school is so lucky, at my school the most gaming we ever got was when for the 6th formers managed to install UT on to the system for a week before the IT tech guys found out.

Sorry, it is Starcraft + Broodwars, i'll edit my post.

I'll see how it goes with the Warcraft expansion.

Red Alert, Warcraft 3, Age of Empires, Unreal Tournament, HL1 based games, Jedi Knight II, GTA (if your school allows that kind of thing) etc etc there are tonnes :D

Team Fortress Classic!

great game, cheap (only need to buy Half-Life) and loads of fun, you could then see about setting up different teams for the different classes etc.

definatly!

5v5 is a bit on the small side, 8v8 would work better maybe, but for cs.. :)
