Hi all, been years since I bought a monitor so completely out of touch.
I'm a casual gamer, happy at 1080p and 60'ish FPS and run a 970 GPU. Monitor used for mostly mix of browsing, some video editing and gaming from time to time, nothing serious. 2nd output to 1080p TV via AVR for media type stuff. Will sit on a desk appx 1m viewing distance.
I'd like a 24" to 27" monitor that looks good and does the job. From what I know, whilst a GPU upgrade is on the cards in the future, I'm not sure I'll need/see any benefit from either G-Sync or higher refresh rates but this is where my knowledge is lacking. Are these now "must have" features?
Budget wise, anything up to £300 considered.
Any pointers or tips would be appreciated. Cheers.
