Help me choose a 6800XT...

The Pulse is a very good cooler and it is very quiet, the Nitro+ will be the same but with RGB. I’m not familiar with the Gigabyte cooler so you may want to check YouTube for that one.

There’s a few Pulse in B Grade for £590 right now. I’d go B grade Pulse if it was me right now.

Thanks, it looks like one of the Sapphire models it is then.

I've bought B Grade before, but I wouldn't be spending £590 on a 90 day warranty, although I do appreciate you providing the info.

Bought the Gigabyte (when it was £100 cheaper than the Sapphire) and don't regret the choice. Temps have been 69-79C when gaming at 4K even during the recent heatwave, and the cooler has been quiet enough I couldn't hear it over the rest of (quiet but not silent) system.

I've not tried the Sapphire this generation, but they've always been good in the past, so no reason to suspect it would be different now.

Not sure there is a bad option on your list there. :)

One thing to note is the Sapphire is listed with 2 year warranty, and the Gigabyte is 3 years. Hopefully neither works be needed, but just a thought in case.

The Nitro+ is a fantastic card, very cool and quiet.

Gibbo did state the warranty on all their 6000 series non-reference cards should actually be 3 years, but when I've attempted to clarify this since I've been met with silence.

Still, cracking card and very light for it's size and cooling capability.

I question ur at a 5700XT going to a 6800XT in Jul/Aug 2022 but in fairness that wasn't the OP question...

Nitro+ is the answer to the question
It's a fair question, and the answer is that I need HDMI 2.1 and I'm wary of the potential for supply issues with the next gen, leading to lack of availability and inflated prices.

2 year warranty on the saphire cards is poor imo.
Yes but they often use Samsung VDIMMS for the ram and their coolers are better.

Nitro+ cards often sell for a higher amount second hand because of it.

Not saying you’re wrong, just that there are other considerations with AMD cards.
