TJ 07 , Lian V2000 or a UFO

I really can't decide on a case for the following gear chaps

Now I have the following kit to go in it ;

Q6600
ASUS P5K
4GB OF REAPER
8800 ULTRA
LIBERTY 720W ENERMAZ PSU
2X WD .10 250G IN RAID 0
500G SEAGTE MEDIA HD
2X SATA DVD DRIVES

WATER GEAR

D TEK CPU BLOCK
THERMOCHILL 120.3
LAING WITH A PLEXTOP
3 X YATE LOONS
EK GPU BLOCK

I did ask about a UFO but it may be a little over budget ( £220 ) max .

Your preferences and why please ?

always been a fan of the v series, however the TJ07 has grown on me. im not the biggest fan of MM as i think they would be too big for my room, my vote goes to the V2000 for looks + size/amount of stuff you can get in it :)

seconded :p mine got the cables more tidy as in the next few months am putting my water rig in

4th vote for the v2k, i do like the silverstone too, but just love the v series too much [/fanboy]

contemplated getting a UFO, but after seeing one in the flesh, it just looked a little too tacky. Very nice features though, and excessively spacious!

Dont like them look at the tight fit of the heatsink means tuniq towers and sinks like that will not fit in the correct orientation
case needs that divider lowering 2 inches or so.

The thing putting me off the tj07 is the hard drives have to be screwed in to the enclosures.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

My biggest gripe with the v series too... almost makes them a water only case...

Its gonna have a dtek on the cpu ,,

Im still steering towards the TJ07 for access of air to the rad fans ,,,unless someone knows other wise ?

Cut out your own rad vents on the v2k? or if there's only 1 rad, mount int so it draws air in from the bottom of the case, it's perforated like the front is.

How easy would it be to fitt a Thermochill 120.3 on the base of the V200 and what is the ventilation like for it ..

I would only be fitting the one rad 120.3 rad.

it can be mounted straight to the bottom of the case...

The only drawback would be the complete removal of all of the HDD racks.. not a problem for me, as i only use one HDD, and thus mounted it in the 5.25" bays.

Viper I have three HD , can I mount them somewhere else in the case without drilling or cutting anythning ?

don't get sucked into the V2000 hype, yes it looks nice and it's a "lian-li" but i haven't regretted selling mine on at all.

the airflow though the case is less than adequate for one and even though it's a big case it doesn't feel as big when you're inside working with it. it rattles a lot more than any other case i've had before and the wheels squeak like you wouldn't believe.

if you want to fit a rad into a case with zero problem you just can't go past a MM but of course they are costly, there's no better water cooling case on the market imo but they're not to everyones taste.

needs modding to be anywhere near WC friendly as the MM cases though.

that's what i like about MM, everything is pre-cut and ready to go.

U2-UFO is the best watercooling friendly case around. Other cases need to be modded to match its potential. They do look very industrial tho so it is an aquired taste.

If you wanna be average joe and follow the crowd then get a V2000. If you want to be different (and lets face it you'd be silly to pay £200 to be the same as everyone else) then buy a MM case.
