Ok so I don't want flashing lights, I don't want glow in the dark, I don't want to be able to use it as a disco ball.

At the moment I am thinking of either using my Antec P180, strip out the old and in with the new! Or getting a new case.

I'm tempted by the Antec P183 but was wondering what everyone else thinks. I like understated and black, don't really want to get a full tower as that just makes the PC too freaking huge!

Any thoughts appreciated :)

Yep I have also been looking at the Fractal case.

How come you have come to hate your p182? Anything bad I should know about?!

Wow thats actually really nice - not sure how i managed to miss that. To be honest I assumed I would need to spend something in the area of £100 for a decent case :D

Not buying for like a week, will continue to look around

Thanks chipps, guess same question - how come you are disapointed with the fractal? Seems to get some decent reviews left right and centre!

The lian li case looks nice, im assuming its possible to turn the light off on the fan without turning the fan off? I don't know if im just boring but i really don't like having lights everwhere.....as it is my Razer mouse already gets a tshirt thrown over it :P

the fractal looks good and has great cable management but the bitumen on the inside of the panels seems to insulate and absorb the heat from the case and it just cant keep my system cool.
my temps went up 10c at load from the coolermaster stacker 831 i had before it and that is with 5 fans in it, i had to change the 2 fractal fans i had as front intakes because they shift practically no air and the scythes i swapped them for dropped the temps a couple of degrees but now it sounds as loud as my stacker was.
and the bitumen makes it very heavy also. :(

* reaches for the popcorn *

On a side note, not sure I will get the Fractal case, the bit tech review that I read loved it apart from the fact it has terrible heat management. Considering my room gets a bit toasty perhaps i should keep looking....

I'll second Chipp's opinion on the R2, plus I didn't find it to be particularly quiet, and the build quality wasn't as good as an Antec 300, which is half the price. As has already been mentioned, it is also bloomin' heavy, but the cable management really is excellent!

The Antec 300 might actually be worth considering (I do admit to being a fan), but the Lian Li that Chipps linked to really looks great. I've had (and have) other Lian Li's and I like them. Getting pricey though.
