help me choose a headset

Hi, i was wondering if you could offer some good reccomendations on a good headset/mic for mainly gaming use + Vent, some music listening and for watching DVD's
Not looking to spend mega bucks, maybe up to about £75 ish :confused:

I use a Logitech Internet Chat Headset. Seems good, better than cheap things I've had before, gets used pretty much all the time I'm using the PC.

The fluffy thing on the mic broke though, and the protective bit on the mic boom is peeling itself off. Other than that, just an occasionally dodgy left ear where someone felt the need to shout down Vent, on a day I had sound high because someone felt like being quiet.

I'll make the trip up to Birmingham to claim my £30 when I get my car.

But, I spose with your price range you could get a more expensive Logitech variant.

I use Sennheisser PC130 headset, great IMO, specially for £22, tried a mates PC150 at a lan, and i think the extra £15 is worth it for them at £37

AVOID surround sound headsets, they weigh a ton, have poor sound quality, but the placement is marginally better, if at all ... decent stereo headset is all you need
