So, in down to two but not sure which. Will be used for general surfing, office work and learning programming.
I have two options really. A HP with i5-7something, 16GB ram, 2TB mechanical HD and a 1366x768 screen. Or an Acer with A9-9410, 8GB of RAM and 128GB SSD and 1TB mechanical, 1980x1080 screen.
On paper the Acer looks a sure bet (better resolution and an SSD) but i haven't had an AMD CPU since the K6 were a thing.
Any ideas? Both are similar price.
