Those are all great options...I have the ASUS ROG Swift G-Sync TN 1440p panel and love it but thinking hard about getting an IPS 4K model.

At this stage, I would only consider IPS monitors and if you have a 1080ti, I'd push for 4K...it is gorgeous...the AOC 4k IPS model you have on your list looks great...

I would also consider this ACER on offer this week only for £529....https://www.overclockers.co.uk/acer...descreen-led-monitor-black-red-mo-096-ac.html

Enjoy and let us know what you decide...

Don't get a 4K panel. Especially from Asus. Been there, won't go there again until they've proven their ability to perform decent QC.

OP, 1440p @ 144Hz + is your best bet. VA panels being the best compromise between colours, viewing angle and response time

Problem with 4k is you are limited to 60hz I think. Unless newer models that I haven't seen improve on this.

Also bear in mind that at 4k, your 1080ti will probably need replacing in a year's time.

Also note that ips panels all suffer with glow and bleed to varying degrees. Be prepared to send it back a few times until you get one that is tolerable.

is gsync worth getting, because i like the lg one but its freesync

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,924.07
(includes shipping: £14.10)

and im on a dell ips would i notice a lot of difference with colour

thanks

If you're going to be spending that sort of money on a monitor, it should be a GSync one. The 1440p AOC one is the best one you've picked so far - I'd get something with a similar panel

Are there any gsync VA panels?

If so, go for one of those.

Does gsync really matter? I can't even notice the difference myself. My monitor is freesync being used with an Nvidia card and it looks great to me. I wonder if I should get a Vega card to actually use the freesync, but think why bother.

If the low range of sync was lower, it would be :/ Like if they would come as low as 20-25hz, then I could imagine a huge benefit from adaptive sync... but it's always something silly like 48, i.e. a perfectly acceptable framerate if you're not into twitch reaction games.

Not 2560x1440p AFAIK so far only 1080p, some Superwides and 4k.
