Help me choose a new monitor. Ready to order!

Hi chaps.

My new rig (in sig) has settled in nicely and the last part I need is a new monitor as I am still using a Viewsonic 19'

I am looking at 24' and in particular the BenQ G2420HDBL, which is back in stock tomorrow.

Is this the best bang for buck as there are a few others around in stock for the same price, such as this Samsung B2430H, or even this ViewSonic VX2433wm.

I am ready to hit the trigger on this so any help would be most appreciated.

The BenQ is supposed to very good and has loads of good reviews + it's back in stock tomorrow!!

the only one that I can recco from experience is this one

but it may have features, like rotating screen, that you will not need

I did look at that but it is bit out of my price bracket.

I know the BenQ is good value but I am being drawn to the ViewSonic for some reason. Don't know if it is worth the extra £15 though.

My only observation is that the reviews stop about mid 09 so perhaps this monitor is older?

OR

no one has bothered to write a review lately!

compare the 2 on review sites to get a feel for which one best suits your needs is all that I can sensibly advise.

ie if a HDMI connection is important... then Viewsonic etc etc

Cherrs for the responses. I read some review about the ViewSonic that were not great. Stuck with the OCUK reviews on the website and just ordered the BenQ.
