Help me choose a TV

I've got around £1000 to spend with a company to replace a tv that can't be repaired under warranty.

I'm looking for a 55" HDR 4k TV and I mostly watch standard TV, Netflix/Amazon and will be hooking my PC up a fair bit for gaming. (2nd 980ti on the way)

I would ideally get the Samsung KS7000 but that isn't stocked by this company so that's a no go.

I've done a fair bit of research and narrowed it down to the following options available but am looking for some input on which is best.

1. Sony KD55XD8005BU (I believe this is the X850d elsewhere) - A 10 bit IPS panel, great colours apparently, excellent upscaling and low input lag for gaming. The only downside appears to be black level and lack of local dimming. We usually have some ambient lighting though so that should negate this somewhat I presume?

2. LG 55UH770V - 10 bit IPS panel with apparently great peak brightness and colours. A major flaw appears to be very obvious vertical lighting/dimming issues with high contrast footage but not sure how much of an issue this would be.

3. Panasonic Viera 58DX750B - Bigger screen and appears to be a half decent all rounder according to some reviews, but only an 8 bit panel.

Any help would be appreciated as looking to order tomorrow/Thursday. :)

I went for the Panasonic in the end, it's being delivered on Monday.

Where can I get decent test patterns for calibration? Ideally something I can put on a USB drive.

Really? Where is the source for this?

I have Titan X Maxwell which is essentially the same card with more memory.

You'll be fine on Titan as it's standard spec board and cooler. Some of the 980tis and 980s have issues. The source is me and my extensive testing trying to get to the bottom of it with a couple of Samsung KS series tvs. Reference design cards out of my wifes pc were ok for rgb or 4:4:4 but them non reference designs had a lot of dropouts in the same pc and same cable tested with 2 of each card and 2 identical KS tvs. Another member here has the issue right now too.
