Help me choose an X99 board

Hi guys,

I'm building a new hard-tube watercooled system inside a Phanteks Enthoo Primo case. I currently have a Rampage VII motherboard (DDR3) with an i7 4790K but wanted to upgrade all this when I move into the new case, and move to DDR4

I think I am settled on the CPU (i7-5820K 2011-V3) and the RAM Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 (16GB). The motherboard is where I am stuck. I don't want to spend loads, so around the £200 mark is where I am looking. I think I have narrowed-it down to 4 possibilities:

1. Gigabyte X99 SLI
2. Asus X99-E
3. MSI X99S Plus
4. Asus X99-A II

I am guessing the first two must be good, and OCUK use them in their pre-OC'd bundles. The last one is expensive, but if it's significantly better than the other options, then I may consider it.

Does anyone have any advice/experience with these? I've read lots of reviews, but some 1st hand feedback would be great!!

That was actually one of the ones that I had my eye on. Unfortunately, I am currently working in Madrid, and apparently getting hold of that specific board anywhere in Spain is impossible. Unless it has a different name over here, my only option is to get one sent over from the UK which takes the price up even further. Unfortunately, OCUK no longer deliver out here too, leaving Ebay as pretty much the only option ... which isn't ideal.

In the end I settled on:

MSI X99A SLI KRAIT Edition USB 3.1
Intel Core i7-5820K
Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 3000 PC4-24000

Got a pretty good deal, so that should do the job for now!

OC champion now only a UK OCUK and US SKU. Not available anywhere else sadly/

You should consider ASUS STRIX as it has same VRM as Rampage at a more attractive price. Woirking well with high mems and CPU OC too.
 
Boo, that's a shame, the Gigabyte looked like a good board!
The Strix also looks very good, but probably just a little beyond my price range.

I settled for the MSI X99A Krait Edition in the end as I found a good deal on that!
