Help me choose between 1050/1050Ti/1060

I'm having trouble discerning the difference between the different manufacturer's versions, and as to how to exactly value number of cores/bus speed etc. My budget puts me around 1050/1060 mark and looking at futuremark and videocardbenchmark, the 1060 seems superior. I'm guessing the 192 bit speed is a big improvement over the 1050? I've read the memory bus speed is more important than the amount of VRAM.

Where I'm really having trouble is figuring our which exact model I should get. This MSI 3gb 1060 is the same price as this OcUK 6gb 1060 with very little difference (few cores and clock speed). I get it's the websites brand but is there any benefit to picking a name like MSI? I've noticed a lot of the more expensive cards in that range offer almost nothing better than the cheapest version. Is it better to get a really basic 1060, or is there actually merit in getting +50MHz clock speed and 50 more cores, or a bigger brand name, for +25% cost? This inno3d 3gb card seems identical to the MSI card I linked (save a couple MHz clock speed) for £50 cheaper.

Finally, would you recommend a 6gb card instead of a 3gb? If I go for a 1050 Ti, I'd just get a 4gb version. Thanks in advance!

Don't worry about cores/bus speeds etc. Just go for the best card within budget.

The 1060 with 6gb is the one to go for. The 3gb msi card is a quieter/better looking card but has half the vram.

The 6gb will futureproof it more than the 3gb. 1060 is faster than the 1050 and ti variant.
