Help me choose between these please..

I've been looking at getting either this..

or for a bit more cash this..

I've just ordered 2 x the geil ram that is on offer, i know it works with the gigabyte board but i cant get my head around the abit ram compatibility tables, so would it work on the IP35 pro?

Also which would you go for? not to fussed about the extra money, just want a good stable board.

I haven't heard good things about the Abit, lots of voltage droop, I'd go with a Asus P5K-E or one of the Gigabyte boards.

The abit is as good as the Asus & Gigabyte P35's - it's definitely 1 of the favourite P35 chipset mobos.
Obviously it's dearer than the DS3P but you are paying for extras like uGuru, the onboard power, reset buttons & the clearCMOS switch on the IO plate. The more basic IP35 performs pretty much the same & is cheaper.

Thanks lads, looking at that table the gigabyte boards look very stable.

As I'm not overclocking I'll probably just go with the gigabyte board.

(unless someone suggests otherwise
