Help me choose pls

Ok guys, I am getting my new rig this week and I need ** help to pick some mem

The setup consists of:
1. P5KC (S775, DDR2/3 ,P35)
2. Core 2 Duo 8200 s775/2,66 (1333MHz)

There is no way I am getting memories that run at 1333 (expensive for my budget) so I have 3 main choises:

1.Mushkin 4GB Kit DDR2 800MHz 4-4-4-12(XP series, black heatsink)
2.Mushkin 4GB Kit DDR2 1066MHz 5-5-5-15(XP series, red heatsink)
both are at the same price

now, if I stretch a bit more I can get
DDR3 G.SKILL 2GBKIT 1066MHz 7-7-7-18
for the same price as Geil black dragon

So confused... :S
is it better to go 2x1gb of ddr3
or 2x2gb of ddr2 bearing in mind that they will most likely work at 1066MHz

'Mushkin 4GB Kit DDR2 1066MHz 5-5-5-15(XP series, red heatsink)' is the sensible option if it's the same price as the PC6400 version.

Really no need to be looking at DDR3.
 
to be honest... i just added them to my basket...

as U say.. it is the most sensible choice.

I would like the extra performance of a 1333MHz kit but for a higher price and half the memory size I think I will settle with this kit
