I've decided to go for a quad core, and I was intending to wait for the q9450 next month. Now I'm not sure if it will be worth it. I could get the q6600 G0 and a P5K Premium for just a bit more than the cost of the q9450. I think part of it is that I just wanted the latest and greatest, but the more I think about it, the more the q6600 G0 makes sense.
The Nehalem will be out later this year, so I could always go for the q6600 now, and a nice new nehalem aat the end of this year/beginning of next year.
If I go for the q6600, do you think that I'm better off just getting the OEM version, and saving a bit to go towards the Thermalright 120 Ultra Extreme I want to put on it?
