Hello All,

New to watercooling, however have been following build logs for a while.

I'm wanting to build a black/yellow build - i/e case, fans, etc.

I'm currently thinking of getting OCUK Watercooled Haf X V12 Case,

but was wondering if it would be any cheaper or around same price to do it myself.

I'm not too fussed on what case I use, as long as it has got a window(to view inside) and has enough room for the watercooling.

I'm only going to the watercooling the CPU.

I only have around £400 to spend on a case + cooling system.

My other parts are these:

Few things to change:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-404-IN&groupid=701&catid=6&subcat=567 (2 more years warranty than OEM)
Get 2l of fluid to be safe
For cases, try the NZXT switch or the Xigmatek Elysium
Also, get one of these:

Maybe a watercooled gfx card?

(you'll need 2 more fittings too)

Fan controller, yes, lamptron are epic :D

Cleee, those XSPC kits come with a bridge bundled in :)

+1 for the lamptron controller, you'll need them with the vipers, can be pretty loud at full speed.

For Guaranteed compatibility I'd switch the case out, as cleee mentioned the Elysium or the ever so popular NZXT Switch 810 would be a wise buy, buying either you should be able to go for the RX360 over the EX360 too :)

Here's my new build.

You was right...it doesn't have room for the 200mm fan so I switched it out for the 140mm.

YOUR BASKET

1 x Sabotaz Spray Paint Absinth - 400ml £4.99
Total : £1,258.00 (includes shipping : £14.75).

Gone with GeIL Evo Ram purely because it's yellow, and I am doing a custom build that is going to be purely yellow and black.

Would I be better going for a different GPU? Bearing in mind - I only have £200 to spend on one if I go with the other items in my build.

Also What's better? The EX360 Kit at £254.99 or the RX360 kit at £214.99

Noticed the RX kit is only pre-order at the moment however.

Looks good to me :)

Damn I want I switch 810 now, typically I got the 800D about 3 weeks before the 810 was announced :(

Not bigger by much, you'll probably manage around the same amount of radiators in either case tbh, thick 360 and a thick 240.
