I recently have start putting a build together and i need you guys to help me choose the rest of the new rig.

So i need to fill in the blanks.
I have around £1200 left to play with. Im going to need: Ram, Mobo, psu, cpu, Hdd, Os, monitor and keyboard (anything i missed?).

I was thinking something like this but need a bit of advice on the keyboard and monitor.

YOUR BASKET

So i have around £350 left for monitor or keyboard but maybe could stretch a little more if its worth it

Sorry for the confusing post but i would really appreciate some advice for my new build.

Thanks in advice

The GTX 970 is far better value for money. Another option would be an R9 290/X as they have dropped in price. You would need a different Monitor though.

Avexir Ram has White LED's. You can also add things like Bitfenix/NZXT led strips if you want more lighting inside the case.

The Phanteks Luxe is a great case and it has led lighting on the outside. You can choose a few different colours (10 I think) or switch them off altogether.

I am not that clued up on Keyboards, but there is room left for a good Mechanical one.

Do you need an DVD drive, Mouse or Speakers ?

Just adding that these strips would work with the case already, just plug and play into the socket :D Will change with the currently installed LED controller on the case

Drop the GTX980 and go with a pair of R9 290X lightning cards. They will thrash the GTX980 into next week for less money.

The Lightning is a nice price at the moment, as are most of the 290/X cards. If the op isn't fussed about an Nvidia card then they are a great buy.

Thanks for your replies guys. The thing is, I already have the 980 and am thinking of sli in the future.

So just to reiterate I already have the gpu, cooler and ssd. So need to fill in the rest.

Thanks again for your help
