Help Me Decide On Two Second Hand Systems

Hi guys. I'm looking for some advice on two second hand systems please. Which is the best bang for buck please? I'm looking at buying one of these tomorrow.

This will be run on a 1440P screen or maybe on my 55" 4k tv. I'm wanting to play all the new games on the best settings.

SYSTEM 1
- Windows 10 64-Bit
- i7 4790K (EK Water block)
- MSI Z97i Gaming ACK
- 16GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 2400Mhz
- Gigabyte GTX 1080 8GB Reference (EK Water Block)
- Crucial 256GB SSD
- EVGA G1 1000W Power Supply
- NZXT Hue+ Lighting Kit
- CableMod Custom Sleeved Black/Red Cables
- Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Mini ITX Case with Window
- Custom PETG Tubing Water Cooling System with EK 240mm Radiator and D5 Pump/Res


SYSTEM 2
- i7 6700k
- Asus Maximus Hero viii
- 16GB Corsair Dominator 2800mhz
- 2 x AMD 295X2
- 2 X Corsair 480GB SSD
- Corsair AX1200I Power Supply


Which is the better system out of the two please? This is purely for gaming at the best settings at 1440P Resolution and maybe 4k on my TV.

First has a much better graphics card and the second has better specs apart from the graphics card.

Having said that the first is also a mini-ITX system so will be relatively small compared to the second.
 
Yeah that's the trouble I'm in, a better graphics card and an overall nicer build BUT all the other specs of system 2 is really really good.

I've been told the system 1 even though it's fully watercooled runs at 60-70 degrees which i thought was odd for a watercooled system. apparently because its a small build thats why it gets a little toasty.

Either way im stuck between the two :(
 
Even with the other system having better/newer components?

I agree the 1080 is far superior, especially watercooled but i cant stop thinking the 6700k,PSU,more SSD storage isnt a better buy.

I'm wanting a reason to buy system 2 but the gpu's let it down
 
I'm not sure, doubt it's a huge increase between the CPU's, but the 1080 for gaming would be a better buy especially as it's already under water. Is the 4790K overclocked already?
 
I'd definitely go for the first system, one modern GPU over four older ones!
The CPU will be very cloise to the same performance, clock for clock.

if you're worried about the temps, you should be able to cram another radiator in there (even an extra 120/140 should be ample):

- Front: Up to 240mm radiator
- Top: Up to 280mm radiator
- Rear: 120/140mm radiator
