Help Me Decide! (Phone Upgrade)

Hey guys, i dont really know a lot about mobiles but my contract on my Samsung D500 has come to an end so it's time for an upgrade! These are the phones i can upgrade to for free on the Orange website:

Nokia 7360
Motorola L7
Samsung X700
Sony Ericsson K750i
Motorola Pebl
Samsung C120
Sagem my401x
Orange SPV C600
Nokia 1600
Motorola L6
Samsung X660
Samsung E800
Sony Ericsson K510i

Are any of these worth upgrading to?

what do you use your phone for? How much you spend per month, what tariff are you on?

I would mainly use the phone for phone calls, texts, video, pictures! The tarrif im on is £30 a month! Not sure what it's called but it's 200 minutes and 100 texts a month i believe!

where's the e900 or the w810i? if you cant upgrade to them for free, threaten to leave. you can get them both free on low value contract and they are just about the best small phones you can get imo.

Not getting either of those free on a £30/month contract is a joke :rolleyes:

none of those phones you listed are worth bothering with.

I agree with the above post, most of those phones really arent worth bothering with. Threaten to leave and hopefully theyll give you a better choice of phone. Its always good telling them about similar deals youve noticed online etc. O2's tariffs are great value for money for example, so if they cant match them, itll be worth your while asking for a PAK and transferring.

n80 - good smartphone, unlikely to be free through (~£100?)
k800i - Highly anticipated phone, if you want to hold out for a few weeks this'll be a great buy

w810i - Very good phone with good camera
e900 - Looks like a nice small slidy phone

the above phones are the only ones id recommend looking at. All the others are either going to be not worth bothering with or too expensive imo.

get yourself on the blower to retentions and see whats what..

thirty quid a month for what your getting is pretty poor value, if you got a new contract you could get something like 650mins and 1500 texts a month with a free phone on orange.

t-mobile. e900 or w810. £35 per month on flext35, £180 allowance to spend every month (900 minutes, 1800 txts or any combination) and the phone is free. if you get it from somewhere like dial-a-phone, they are offering 7 months half price rental on the w810i or 11 months @ £1.99 on the e900 (money redamable by cheque).

stonking value, far better than o2 basic tarrifs.
