Hey Everybody

Im actually fully stuck at the moment im not sure wether to get the iPhone 5s or an Android phone, i have the HTC One X at the moment and absolutely love the screen quality and the build quality, so what does OCUK reckon get an iPhone 5s or get an Android if Android please recommend something to me!

Thankyou!

It's personal preference really, go into a phone shop and have a play with the different phones and then see if you like the 5S.

The new HTC One is out on the 25th, you might like that if you like your current One X.

Other phones to check out from the start of April are the Xperia Z2 and Galaxy S5, and the Note 3 is worth a look if you want a huge screen.

Oh and the Nexus 5 is a cheap way to upgrade to a top spec phone.

I would class the Nexus 5 as the iPhone of the Android world. Quite nicely built, gorgeous screen and a pure Android experience without all of the Touchwiz rubbish laced over the top. It's obviously not the most powerful nor does it have the best build quality but it's a really nice all round package.

Thankyou both so much for the suggestions but i think im gonna wait till the new One comes out and just walk into o2 and carphone warehouse and have a play around and see what i find matches my taste, but more suggestions are definitely welcome!

Think you need to decide if a 4" screen is enough, for a lot of peopling going backwards is hard.

For Android I would wait to try the new HTC One, that is out on Tuesday, it should be out in most carphone warhouse stores after 4pm so maybe give it a try after work. If you like it, it seems like a logic upgrade, you get an amazing screen, real lovely build, a much better versions of sense.

Other phones I would look at are the Z2, nice glass build, they seem to have finally gotten an awesome panel, solid battery life, software is not too bad. The S5, touchwiz is a lot better now, screen is awesome, build is very meh. Camera looks really interesting on the S5.

Nexus 5! Honestly, side by side there is no comparison imo. Smaller, lower ppi screen just doesn't do it for me at all.

Thats absolutely huge doubt that would fit in my pocket aha

you get used to it after a few days, honestly! :P

LG G2/ S4 / Moto X/ Nexus 5 (probably the most limited in what you can do).

You could also wait for S5 / LG G3/ Xperia Z2 / new HTC One which are all due to be released soon.

i would go with the LG g2. battery life is better than the nexus5 and the screen is bigger too.
