Help me determine what RAM my system takes

Im trying to upgrade the RAM in my current machine.

Its a P4 630HT 3.0Ghz.

Ive checked the crucial memory scanner, and it states that my current ram is

512mb (2x256)
Non-Parity DDR2 PC2-5100

However its telling me to buy PC2700/PC3200 ram.

And im slightly confused.

I want to upgrade it to 1gb (2x512)
What RAM do i actually need to get, for best performance?

The only way to really tell is to open up the case and have a look at what mobo you have, then find out which RAM the mobo supports.

Simple as that!
