Hey.

yesterday I finished moving my system into a core p5 case with hard line watercoling tubes.

all went well.

Until I had the computer started, I have a few issues such as one ram slot deciding to die, pci riser not being detected... both I sorted.

now it's randomly crashing, just freezes solid for no reason.

only seems to do it when I'm accessing my G drive, or installing a program.

No crash logs so I have no idea what the hell is up with it.

any ideas?

Is it a new install or cloned drive?

It sounds software related so a good backup and then a fresh install could solve the issue.

It's a 2.5" hdd connected via sata 3.

pretty much the same setup before I moved it all to new case.

I think I'm due a reinstall anyway

Ok.

Have figured out its to do with the PCI_E Risers.

I'm getting error 93 on Boot 4/5 boots, Which is a PCI-E Boot problem.

If I unplug my main 290x pci-e it boots first time every time.
So it looks like a PCI-E Riser at fault.

Unfortunately Thermaltake are making it very difficult to buy a replacement...!
