Help me do this please

Id like to be able to send files between 2 laptops through a wireless network connection...

does it matter that one is a mac?

and obviously how would i go about do this as i havent the slightest....

Have you read the wireless sticky, that should pretty much tell you all you need to know. Out of interest are you using the wireless through a router or trying to set up an ad-hoc network?
