Help me drop £1000

Thanks for all those bundle ideas.

My current monitor is linked in the first post. Although mine doesn't have the B3 cerfix.

Your first bundle actually made me think maybe going for 27" and 1440p was a mistake, obviously it would be a better experience but your bundle came in at £990 and i could knock £200/£160 off that, which means I could buy it sooner.

Whether I go AMD will depend on if they come down in price or not. That vega56 costs more than the 1080 but not as good, hard to justify with or without g/free sync.

One big thing you're missing is HDMI 2.1. This has been ratified and includes variable refresh rate. So if you can wait, look for new monitors with HDMI 2.1.

You will probably need the 64 to compete with a 1080, but I suggested the amd setup because you have a freesync 144hz screen already which be no use really using along side a g-sync monitor and to buy a 1080 Plus 2 g-sync screens will cost you at least £1200 minimum and that’s with smaller than 27” screens.

Now if you just wanted one big superwide g-sync screen higher than 1080p and 27” onwards then the gtx 1080 is a no brainier
