Here's the story...

I heard it on a mix CD at work, no one knew what it was.

I know its a classic Ibiza anthem, maybe around 10 years old.

The bit im going to describe sounds minimal, with 'beeps' making the tune. It sounds quite spacy. Anyway, here's my completely ridiculous attempt at describing it....

beep

beep beep beep beep

beep beep beep beep
beep beep beep beep
beep beep beep beep
beep beep beep beep

beep beep

and thats it! :D

Hope someone can help, it's been driving me mad for over a day now!

That was so obviously PPK - Resurrection, description was brilliant!

10 years old, that's actually inducing an anxiety attack in me. The youth of today have literally no hope.

I know next to nothing about dance/trance. If anyone can recommend me some classic 'must haves' I'd be grateful!
I've bought chicane - offshore/saltwater and darude- sandstorm

Veracocha - Carte Blanche.
Art of Trance - Madagascar.

Binary Finary - 1998
Brainbug - Nightmare (Sinister Strings remix)
Cyngus x - The Orange Theme (Moonmans OJ Mix)
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar
Lost Witness - Red Sun Rising (Lange Remix)
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tiesto Remix)
BT & Paul van Dyk - Flaming June

Albums like Club Anthem Classics and Old Skool Ibiza is what you want to be looking at, they both have pretty much all the classics.

Planet Perfecto - Not over yet (Matt Darey Remix)
Tiesto - Suburban Train

Don't think anything can touch Southern Sun (ft. Solar Stone) tho absolutely sublime way better than the tiesto version.

If we're just recommending tracks now then can I suggest Future Sounds Of London - Papua New Guinea, possibly not that particular mix but certainly one of them. I must admit I'm surprised how easily anyone got Resurrection from the description but good going.

I was looking forward to being able to post the answer - I got it straight away. I remember first hearing it ... no i don't. or do I? I remember PPK, Lagoona and Astral Projection being some of the first trance bands I heard on mp3.com back when it was awesome in 2000.

I wish I could find some more Astral Projection and Lagoona... from that era.
